What are Group Fitness Classes?

The Rec Center offers a variety of group exercise formats to provide you with the opportunity for great workouts led by experienced and certified instructors. These classes can help tone your major muscles, improve cardiovascular endurance, and increase flexibility in a motivating, fun, and challenging format for all fitness levels. Participants should plan to arrive early before each class and will not be allowed to enter the class beginning five minutes after class starts. Class space is limited so we encourage you to register ahead of time for your class online at https://my.recsports.unt.edu/ or through the Rec Sports app. Because of the limited space we encourage you to be sure to cancel your class reservation if you know you won't be attending so others can have the opportunity. Please also note that there must be a minimum of 2 participants in the class or the class could be canceled. Should 2 or less people show up the instructor will decide if class will be held or not.
