Paintball
UNT Paintball, originally called NTX, was started in 2003 by some students that had a dream of playing paintball, and doing it for their school. That dream was recognized, and now UNT Paintball is one of the top teams in not only the South Central Collegiate Conference (SCCC), but in the National Collegiate Paintball Association (NCPA) as well! The UNT Paintball team plays against many different schools from all over Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and even Colorado. The team holds several national championships, as well as multiple conference championships! The paintball season usually begins in August and culminates in April with the National Championships. Thanks for checking us out, we hope to see you out at the field soon!
The team can usually be found practicing at Fort Paintball in Parker, TX every other Sunday from 9-2PM. In order to play on the competitive team, students must be enrolled as a full-time student (12+ hours), and be willing to commit several weekends a month to practices/events. If a student is wanting to just come out and play some paintball, they must be enrolled in at least one (1) credit hour at UNT.
Practice Venue: Fort Paintball
Practice Times: Sunday 9am-2pm
