Men's Lacrosse
The UNT Mean Green lacrosse team has been around for 15 years. We compete in the Lone Star Alliance against other schools like Texas and Texas Tech. We are a competitive team and have made playoffs for 6 straight years and lost to Texas in the LSA Championship Game in 2009. Lacrosse is a fast paced physical game that allows you to run like you would in soccer and make contact like in football and hockey. The Mean Green has had players who have gained All-American status amongst the LSA and have also had first year players earn rewards as well. Players are welcome with any experience as long as they have a drive to compete and be Mean Green proud!
Practice Venue: Traditions Lower Field
Practice Times: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9-11:30pm
