The mission of the UNT Men's Soccer Club is to provide a safe and competitive environment for students to enjoy the beautiful game of soccer. Participation with the club is open to all male students and is completely voluntary. Try-outs are held at the beginning of each Fall semester to determine a travel roster that competes each year in the Texas Collegiate Soccer League against schools such as UT, A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor and more. To ensure that the maximum number of students are served, all club practices have an open attendance policy.

In recent years the club has experienced growth in membership and exposure. Moving forward, the goal is to continue to increase the number of active club members while also increasing the quality of play, and visibility on campus. Regional and National tournaments are held each year for all collegiate club soccer teams, and the UNT Men's Soccer Club aims to one day compete for both. Aside from competitive goals, the club also hopes to take a larger role in supporting other student organizations, as well as the many on-campus events that happen throughout the year.
