Group exercise offers a variety of formats to provide participants the opportunity to get a great workout led by an experienced instructor. All classes are for all levels of experience, unless noted otherwise.

Below is some important information to help get you started with our Group Ex Passes and Classes.

  • Rec Center PictureParticipants must sign in and pick up a participation card at Member Services or in front of the Group Exercise rooms.
  • Abs/Back classes are all free and do not require check in at Member Services.
  • Group Exercise participants must be a Rec Center member, have a valid UNT student ID or pay the guest fee. Participants must be at least 16 years old to attend classes.
  • No experience necessary! Try a class anytime throughout the semester.
  • No admit to class after start of class.
  • Participants must sign in at the Rec Center Member Services Desk for every group exercise class (except Abs & Back). Sign-in sheets are available 30 minutes prior to the start of each class. Group Exercise classes will begin on time. The official time will be the clock on the track. Participants will not be allowed to enter class after the doors are locked and class has begun.
