The Group Exercise Program offers fitness classes to UNT students, faculty, staff, alumni and retirees. The programs are designed to increase your fitness level through safe and fun classes - at your own pace! These activities are a great way to meet new friends, stay in shape, and keep a regular exercise routine. All classes have qualified instructors to guide you in your fitness endeavors.
Free classes are available to all currently enrolled UNT students and to all Rec Center members. Free classes indicated on the Group Exercise Schedule with an asterisk (*). All other classes are available with an aerobics pass.
Participants must sign in at the Rec Center Member Services Desk for every group exercise class (except Abs & Back). Sign-in sheets are available 30 minutes prior to the start of each class. Group Exercise classes will begin on time. The official time will be the clock on the track. Participants will not be allowed to enter class after the doors are locked and class has begun.
The Pohl Recreation Center offers a variety of group exercise formats to provide you with the opportunity to get great workouts lead by experienced instructors. Classes are motivating, fun, and challenging for all fitness levels. Group exercise can help tone your major muscles, improve cardiovascular endurance, increase flexibility and more!
